What does this mean?

Postby gw » 02/17/07 at 13:13:39

I guess this belongs here.  Hocus is so compelled to post, but commonly says nothing but meaningless drivel...really boring!  So, here is a sample from M* this morning:
Time will tell how it shapes under after sufficient scrutiny had been directed to it.

From #8 in http://socialize.morningstar.com/NewSocialize/asp/FullConv.asp?forumId=F100000098&convId=195074#1342951

This from a "professional" writer?

Of course, he does supply this insight in his reply #7:
I have noticed that some will grasp at any straw to persuade themselves that their early retirement plan is realistic.

[smiley=thumbsup.gif]  Good thinking, hocus.  Too bad you didn't have that insight before you retired.

Read about Rob; google "Narcisstic Personality Disorder".

He is such a putz.

And a liar.

Like in this short non-response:

I have only a tiny bit (about $10,000) in gold. So I don't think that I should be the one making the case for it.

I'd bet my corn plasters that the 'gold' he speaks of is in his teeth and on the wife's finger, and that the $10K estimate is um.... 'quite generous'.

Otherwise, I'm sure Hocus will tell us specifics on his investment if it is more than just him lying; i.e. whether his SPECIFIC investment in gold is via futures, bullion, mining companies, krugerrands, or what.  Right?

Sure.

Better check the Hoco-safe, maybe things aren't where Rob left them for safekeeping:

If I recall correctly, I think I read hocus say he also has a small amount in silver. Of course, that could be what he keeps in the utensil drawer.

I have a fair amount of silver and gold in my teeth.

Since he has little in gold he refrains from comment. But he has nothing in stocks...

From Diehards 57483: Gold

So hocus does own some silver. It still could be in the utensil drawer. :D

Many people have mentioned silver in this thread in passing, but no one has really talked about it.

I have a small bit of money in silver too. I put $10,000 into gold and $5,000 into silver. Both are up.

Heh heh heh... I see what you did there...

I'm sure JWR has a Hocovaluator Trainer Revision Aught Four Mark III Rev Zed that explains in loony byzantine helical fashion just how The Thistle of Loudoun Co. determines his areas of interest.
