Ha!!! I'd forgotten all about dcms, i.e., Defenders of the Conventional Methodology, in the hocomania vernacular. I guess over the course of time the simple term "Goons" has come to encompass all who dare to disagree with hocus or fail to embrace the Hoco-Narrative! ?

Yes, his ranting and hysteria about impending doom has been invariant.

The only changes are his targets and his claims as to what those dangerous elements are that will cause the doom. But rest assured, the doom is coming!!!!!

Rob barely willing to even phone it in anymore -- today's Plop just a reference to four month old rehash.

Guess new manic cycle will take a few weeks to kick in.

Yep, he implies that it is something new - but it's something he posted back on November 5.   That explains the odd reference to the Obamacare rollout.

Rob's in the depressive phase of his cycle.   Boo probably has trouble getting him out of bed in the morning, much less getting fully dressed, brushing his teeth, etc.

I also see Rob's rehash of that old stale post drew as much interest today as it did originally...ZERO comments back then and again today. Come on hocus. Treat us to some New & improved Bat$hit Crazy delusions for a change! ?;D

And today's Plop contains....

100% post-consumer recycled crap. Again.

Yup, Rob's apparently bottoming on the depressive side now. Poor fella. Some people get the hint from looking around at their crumbling lives and seek help. Others decide to just ride that roller coaster right down into the abyss, until they hit rock bottom.

Looks like he's letting people comment at the plop today, perhaps he's gotta use it to vent after having a rough Valentine's Day with his wife. Yesterday he wasn't letting anything of mine through and I'd bet there was at least one or two others Rob prevented from being able to post honestly at the Plop.

I took a peek. Sadly, it follows the pattern of most Bennett comment threads:

One or two good comments from others, that Rob immediately tries to bury with multiple posts of his own,  of lengths longer than the original article, with Rob's goal focused on trying to obfuscate, to avoid answering legitimate inquiry, and to self-aggrandize.

In other words, just another day of Hocomania.

Rob, posting frequency both here and the plop appears to be at an all time low.

So, unless you want to risk permanently dropping from the radar, then you need to bust out a whole lotta NEW and ORIGINAL crazy pretty soon!

I have faith in ya, boy!

Like reaching the end of the internet.

This is the way [s]the world[/s]Hocomania ends.
Not with a bang but with a whimper.

Yup, just more of the same-old, same-old copypasta there today.

I'm sayin' he gets out of bed long enough to grab some old comments thread, randomly pastes one of his excruciatingly long and boring replies from that thread, back into his own Plop as filler, then pulls the covers back up to his chin until Boo tells him it's lunch time.

How much less involved can you get than that?

Wasn't he gonna turn the world on it's ear with his 'Free N Open' web blog?

Guess that will have to wait until the next upswing of the manic cycle.

He doesn't even have to do that, drip guy. Wordpress allows you to create a queue and have stuff posted at a predetermined date and time. His plop posts could just be done in a few minutes of copy+paste. The way to tell if he's awake would be to leave a comment. It usually doesn't take him long to either approve or delete the comment.
