Sir John doesn't like the current valuation of equities around the world, real estate, or bonds. Increased inflation will destroy cash. He counsels pension funds to wait it out in open end funds employing hedging strategies.

Sir John Templeton's answers were much better than the questions. I think that this was intentional. He has enough experience to avoid being trapped into saying something that he does not want to say.

Have fun.

I tend to agree with John R's assesment of the interview.

I have never tryed puts and calls to hedge anything. For a large pension fund???
