Hello Petey,
Thanks for the link. I was a bit surprised by this.
Emerging countries now account for nearly 20% of global GDP and include 6 of the world's largest economies.

The Gillette Edmunds book,
Retire Early, published in 2000 stated that EM was just under 15% in 2000 and 10% in 1990.
