Vanguard VIPER shares

Even though Vanguard have several funds available to European private investors, they each require $100,000 as a minimum investment.
In information on US Viper shares, Vanguard said:
" VIPER Shares have been listed for trading on the American Stock Exchange since June 2002.
Vanguard is currently assessing the demand for VIPER Shares in Europe "

Has anyone here had any experience of the new US Vanguard Viper shares? Do they trade like regular US ETFs? How do the fee side of things work out?
Thanks,
Petey
